About the JA Bowl-A-Thon

Each year, local businesses get together at local bowling centers to raise funds for JA and have a fun time doing it! You don't have to be a great bowler to be successful. All you need is enthusiasm! Proceeds from this event help fund the delivery of JA economic education programs to approximately 77,000 students in south Texas. Donations to JA are tax deductible.

How to Get Started in 3 Easy Steps

1. A team captain gathers a team of six.
2. Each team member secures pledges from family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues
3. Team members meet at the bowling alley on their scheduled date & time for 2 fun filled games of bowling.

And that's it! But don't forget to use the Online JA Bowl-A-Thon HQ for better fundraising results. JA has made it easier than ever to request pledges through email and social media.

You can start sending email requests as soon as you create your user login. You will be able to keep track of who gave and how much. Team captains can also view the status of the bowlers within your team and overall totals raised.
