Volunteer Quick Links

A want versus a need.  How to balance a checkbook.  Don't you wish someone had taught you those things as you were growing up?

Now there is someone...YOU!

All we need is your enthusiasm, life experience, and a willingness to teach children about how you took chances and shot for the stars.  Junior Achievement provides the training, curriculum, and a classroom ready to meet you.

The Volunteer Commitment

Your commitment could vary from a single school day to a weekly visit of one hour each for five to eight weeks.  It all depends on the grade level of the program you choose.  You can choose your classroom based on a number of factors.  We're flexible!

Get Your Company Involved

Share the fun of volunteering with your co-workers!  Whether you choose to carpool or co-teach a program, volunteering together is a great experience.  Giving back to the community is great exposure for your company, and employees can sharpen their presentation and organization skills.  To assist you in promoting JA to your office download the company coordinator kit by clicking here.

How do I sign up?

Junior Achievement of South Texas has three offices.  Our main office in San Antonio and two satellite offices; one in Laredo and another in Corpus Christi.  Select the office nearest you from the links above, fill out the online form and submit.  You will be contacted by one of our staff members to set up training and give you classroom materials.
