2019 JA of Laredo Sock Hop Bowl
October 26, 2019
Each year, local businesses get together at local bowling centers to raise funds for JA and have a fun time doing it! You don't have to be a great bowler to be successful. All you need is enthusiasm! Proceeds from this event help fund the delivery of JA economic education programs to approximately 95,000 students in south Texas including 17,000 right here in Laredo. Donations to JA are tax deductible.
How To Get Started in 3 Easy Steps
And that's it! But don't forget to use the Online JA Bowl-A-Thon HQ for better fundraising results. JA has made it easier than ever to request pledges through email and social media.
You can start sending email requests as soon as you create your user login. You will be able to keep track of who gave and how much. Team captains can also view the status of the bowlers within your team and overall totals raised.

Each year JA Bowl-A-Thon takes on a theme that makes our bowl-a-thon stand out from the others and, let's face it, more fun. Use the theme to catch the attention of potential supporters.
This year, as you can see, it's all about the 50's Sock Hop! Dress to impress...it's all about poodle skirts for girls and cuffed jeans for boys. A simple Internet search can give you all the ideas you need and have fun doing it.
