JA in a Day Program
a Success! Junior Achievement of South Texas
would like to thank our business and education
partners that delivered JA programs using the JA
in a Day model, which allows volunteers to impact
thousands of students' lives by spending an entire
day in a local school serving as role models while
facilitating the 5 lessons in the JA Elementary
School Program. Over 2,700 students received
the JA Program in one day during the 07/08 school
year because of the participation of 148
volunteers and 133 educators. We'd like
to recognize the following partners:
AT&T HACEMOS
- Gardendale
Elementary
Chase Card
Services & Kelly USA - Ed Cody
Elementary
Citi - Five
Palms Elementary
East Central High
School JROTC - Harmony
Elementary
Harland Clarke -
Leon Valley
Elementary
Thanks for your support
and congratulations on providing a terrific,
energized experience for our
children. |
