AT&T Makes $1 Million Gift to Support JA's Business Transformation Initiative

AT&T has approved a $1,000,000 corporate contribution over four years to JA Worldwide to support JA Worldwide's Business Transformation Initiative.  The Business Transformation Initiative consists of the design, development, and deployment of an enterprise platform solution that addresses three core areas that impact every JA local area office on a global basis.
  1. This initiative will have a direct and positive impact on each of the local affiliates as it will increase the effectiveness of the educational delivery through improved management of classes, teachers, schools, and volunteers.
  2. Donor cultivation and management for increased fundraising capabilities.
  3. Special Event management capabilities.

The Business Transformation Initiative will automate many of the administrative tasks that staff members currently perform manually.  The application will also promote better visibility of key metrics so that U.S. JA areas and Member Nations can monitor their performance and make real-time adjustments.  Our sincere thanks to JA Worldwide Board Member Ralph de la Vega, Group President - AT&T Regional Wireline Operations; and Laura Sanford, President - AT&T Foundation for their support of JA locally and throughout the world.

JA Business Ethics
New Program Introduction

JA Business Ethics JA Business Ethics is designed to foster ethical decision-making in students as they prepare to enter the workforce.  The program consists of seven volunteer-led sessions during which students learn to recognize, analyze, and apply basic terminology, theories, and concepts common to the study of ethics.  They explore their own ethical values and philosophy, establish ethical priorities, recognize key ethical issues, and learn to evaluate their decision-making process. Junior Achievement gratefully acknowledges Deloitte for its dedication to the development and implementation of JA Business Ethics.
